ARTUSX CLIENT SERVICES & POLICIES

Welcome to Artusx Client Services. We are committed to ensuring your experience with our Haute Parfumerie and handcrafted jewelry reflects the highest standards of care, discretion, and craftsmanship.

Please review the policies below. By placing an order with Artusx, you agree to these terms.

  1. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

1.1 Handcrafted Processing Time
Artusx creations are prepared and finished by hand.

Standard processing: 2–4 business days.
Peak seasons / limited drops: up to 5 business days.

1.2 Shipping Services
We work with reputable carriers, which may include USPS, UPS, and DHL.

Domestic (USA): estimated 3–7 business days (ground).
International: estimated 7–15 business days (express services where available).

Hazardous goods notice (fragrance): Due to aviation and destination restrictions for flammable goods, certain fragrance shipments may be limited, delayed, rerouted, or unavailable for specific countries/regions. If we cannot legally or reliably ship an item to your destination, we may cancel the order and issue a refund.

1.3 Duties, Taxes & Customs (International)
Duties and taxes are not included at checkout. The recipient is responsible for all import duties, customs fees, and local taxes. Customs processing times vary and are outside our control.

1.4 Signature Recommendation for High-Value Orders
For high-value orders, we strongly recommend selecting a delivery option that requires signature confirmation where available.

1.5 Shipping Claims Window & Carrier Delays
Claims: Any shipping-related claim (lost, missing, or damaged) must be submitted within 7 days of the last tracking update or delivery confirmation (whichever occurs first), with supporting documentation.
Delays: Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees. Once an order is handed to the carrier, delays caused by carrier operations, weather, or customs are outside Artusx control.

1.6 Address Accuracy; Return-to-Sender
Clients are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout. If a shipment is returned due to an incorrect/insufficient address, refusal, or failed delivery attempts, reshipment costs and any additional handling fees will be the responsibility of the client.

  1. RETURNS & REFUNDS

2.1 Fragrance Hygiene Standard (Final Sale Once Opened)
To uphold strict hygiene and safety standards, perfumes and fragrance oils are treated as personal-use items.

Opened items: Once cellophane is removed, a seal is broken, or the product is used, the item is non-returnable and non-refundable.
Unopened items: Factory-sealed, unopened fragrance products may be eligible for return within 14 days of delivery, subject to authorization.

2.2 Jewelry Returns
Eligible jewelry items may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unworn, unwashed, and free of any signs of wear, and all original packaging, tags, and accompanying materials are intact.

2.3 Non-Returnable Items
The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded:
• Samples and discovery sets
• Gift cards
• Customized/personalized items (including engraving where applicable)
• Items explicitly marked “Final Sale”

2.4 How to Request a Return (RMA Required)
Step 1: Email our Concierge Team at support@artusx.com with your order number and request.
Step 2: If approved, you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Returns sent without an RMA cannot be accepted.
Step 3: Ship the return using a trackable method. Return shipping costs are the client’s responsibility. We recommend shipping insurance for high-value items.

2.5 Inspection, Refund Timing & Non-Refundable Fees
All approved returns are inspected upon receipt. If the item does not meet the eligibility criteria, it may be refused and returned to the client.

Refunds (if approved) are issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after inspection. Original shipping fees, duties, and taxes are non-refundable.

2.6 Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged or defective, notify us within 48 hours of delivery and include clear photos of the outer box, inner packaging, and the product. Subject to verification, we may offer a replacement or other remedy at our discretion.

3.1 Information We Collect
We collect personal information such as name, email, shipping address, and order details strictly to:
• Process and fulfill orders
• Communicate about orders and shipping
• Provide client service and support
• Improve our website experience and operations

3.2 Payment Security
We use industry-standard SSL encryption. We do not store full credit card details on our servers. Payments are processed via secure third-party gateways such as Stripe and PayPal in accordance with applicable security standards.

3.3 Sharing With Service Providers
We do not sell personal information. We may share necessary information with trusted service providers (e.g., carriers, payment processors, website infrastructure) solely to operate and fulfill services, subject to confidentiality obligations.

3.4 Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to enable core site functionality, enhance browsing experience, analyze traffic, and personalize content. You may adjust cookie preferences in your browser settings.

3.5 Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link included in our messages.

3.6 Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for legitimate business purposes and legal obligations.

3.7 Children’s Privacy
Our website is not intended for individuals under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

  1. TERMS OF SALE & LIABILITY

4.1 Order Acceptance; Fraud Prevention
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit orders at our discretion, including orders flagged for suspected fraud or unauthorized activity.

4.2 Pricing & Listing Errors
If a product is listed with incorrect pricing or information due to typographical, technical, or system error, we reserve the right to cancel affected orders. If payment has been processed, we will issue a refund for the amount charged.

4.3 Cancellations / Modifications
Because many pieces are prepared or finished by hand, cancellation or modification may not be possible once processing begins. Requests must be submitted as soon as possible, and approval is not guaranteed.

4.4 Product Use, Allergies & Natural Variation
Allergy and sensitivity notice: Fragrance products may contain natural and synthetic ingredients that can cause sensitivity. You are responsible for patch testing and for reviewing ingredient information when available. Artusx is not liable for adverse reactions resulting from product use.

Natural variation: Handcrafted items may show natural variations in color, texture, finish, pattern, or minor cosmetic characteristics. For fragrance, slight variations in color or natural sediment may occur over time and do not constitute defects.

Jewelry wear and care: Metals may oxidize, patina, or show normal signs of wear depending on usage and care. This is a natural characteristic of many materials and finishes.

4.5 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Artusx shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to any purchase or use of our products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the product(s) giving rise to the claim.

4.6 Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier disruptions, customs delays, severe weather, acts of government, or labor disputes.

4.7 Governing Law; Venue
These policies and any dispute arising from or related to them shall be governed by the laws of New York, without regard to conflict of laws principles. You agree that any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

4.8 Policy Updates
We may update these policies from time to time. The version posted on our website at the time of purchase will apply to that order.
